In this family, we practically live on Amazon Prime. It’s a convenience we have grown quite fond of.
At first, we simply loved the free 2 day shipping for last minute birthday and Christmas gifts, but eventually realized we could get our everyday household products delivered too!
As a busy mom of three kids, I appreciate any way to get our household essentials fast and hassle free.
Other benefits of a Prime membership include thousands of movies and TV episodes, as well as the ability to borrow Kindle books.

How to Save Money with Amazon
Subscribe & Save
Another easy way to save money with Amazon is to use the Subscribe & Save feature.
You can add items such as diapers, toilet paper, and paper towels to your subscriptions so you will never have to worry about running out.
When you start a subscription, you will save anywhere from 10-15% off each item that you buy and the items will ship right to your door without the struggle of shopping with your kids.
Amazon will send you a reminder email before it ships, in case you need to cancel your order, change your order, or reschedule for another date.
If you have a growing family, and are always needing to buy diapers, formula, and other super expensive baby items, Amazon Family might just be the money saving tool you need!
Benefits of Amazon Family include:
- Save 20% on diapers subscriptions
- Exclusive Coupons and Deals from Amazon Family
- Exclusive Baby Registry benefits
- FREE Two-Day Shipping on millions of items
- Unlimited instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows
- Unlimited, ad-free streaming of over a million songs and more Prime benefits
You can get a 30 day free trial for Amazon Family here.
Another cool way to save money on Amazon is to clip virtual coupons! Several items on Amazon’s site have a little coupon button that you can click to save more at checkout.
It’s really just as easy as one click to save more!
Amazon Gift Cards
One of my absolute favorite little hacks is to use survey sites like Swagbucks to earn Amazon gift cards.
I have also had a lot of success earning Amazon gift cards with the Shopkicks app, which is a fun and easy way to earn gift cards.
All of these mentioned are totally free to join and another great way to save money on your Amazon purchases!
With a family of 5, I am always looking for convenience and ways to save. I love how Amazon has so many different ways to make saving a breeze!
