Our baby girl turned 18 months in May!  I thought it would be fun to do a little update on our spunky little monkey, and talk about some of our 18 month favorites.

These are a few of our favorite things!

Bright Beats Dance and Move BeatBo.  You NEED this.  Not only is the toy adorable, but the hours of toddler dance moves that your child will perform are totally worth every penny.  Bethany loves music and loves to dance!  I hope her love for performing continues.  I can already see the dance and cheer mom life in my future!  Bethany and Noah have the most fun dancing to the “Freeze Dance” song.  You might even find yourself, “droppin’ it like it’s hot” right along with the kids.

Silicone bibs.  These are great because they wipe clean, which means less laundry!  They also have a bucket to catch dropped food.  We have these from Modern Twist.  I love the fun colors and designs.  We got ours when Noah was about 18 months, so they have lasted a good 2 years with ZERO wear and tear!  A must have for messy toddlers.

June and January Swing dresses  We LIVE in these.  Throw them on with a cute bow and you’re done.  Your baby can wear them year round too, paired with J&J tights and a cardigan or jacket.  The entire line of June and January clothing is adorable!  If you aren’t addicted already, you will be after visiting their site.  They also have clothing for boys.  Sizes go up to 5T!

Board Book Block Set.  Bethany absolutely loves to carry these around.  I think she likes them because they are tiny, and perfect for little hands.  She stacks them up, and tries to carry 5 or 6 at a time.  She loves to use the box they come in to pack them in, and take them back out over and over again.  Endless toddler entertainment is always a win!

Fisher Price Disney Princess Castle.  Because what girl doesn’t need a Disney Princess Castle?  Bethany loves to play with this.  It plays fun music, and she really loves seeing how many of the adorable little princesses she can stuff into there at a time.  We got her a variety pack of princesses for her first Christmas.  Obviously, she wasn’t playing with them then, (i think they were more for me), but now she carries them around the house, putting them in her little purse, hiding them in her room, the refrigerator, you know, normal places.

All About our Baby B!

She is a pro at delivering the most precious kisses!  She doesn’t even have to know you, (we’re working on that).

She dances like no one is watching, loves the Mickey Mouse Hot-Dog dance, and says Uh-Oh when her “shows” are over.

She was never in a rush to start talking, which I’m totally ok with for now, but this month her vocabulary has really exploded.  Her favorite words include:  Mama, Dada, Ivy (our dog), Cheese (for the camera), Ba-Ba, and recently Bowl (bo), Bow, and Apple.  Just last week she added please (dease) and thank you (day doo)!

She has the most perfect baby curls. Please stay forever!

Bethany and Noah are the perfect little duo.  She absolutely adores her big brother and does her best to keep up with him.  She seems to grow up so much faster because of this.

She is our girly girl.  Loves to dig through Mama’s makeup bag, loves to wear her bow (and take it off, and cry until we put it back in), and carry around little purses.  The girl loves shoes, and tries to put them on herself (especially when we are already in a hurry!).

Although girly, her other favorite hobbies include, wrestling Daddy, wrestling Noah in their little trampoline, and collecting all of Noah’s trucks and cars and hiding them in unexpected places.

Her favorite foods include Halo oranges and fruit snacks, although she will usually eat whatever we eat for dinner.  She would really prefer oranges morning, noon, and night though.

Our sweet baby girl is 18 months now! Every day she seems bigger and bigger. Less of a baby, and more like a little girl.  We feel so lucky that she’s ours!  Bethany Ann, baby B girl, Little B, Queen B, the B-ness, and sometimes the B-monster.  So many nicknames for our little princess.

We can’t stay mad at our little B for long. Her smile, laugh, and big brown eyes are infectious. You can’t help but feel happy when you are around her.  I can’t wait to see where life takes this one!  Happy 18 months Bethany Ann!

  • I knew I had to comment when I saw BeatBo. My son is only 6 months old, but we have the plush BeatBo and it is his FAVORITE. He will cry, and then as soon as the “BeatBo Boogie” comes on, he’ll be laughing. I haven’t bought the one you show yet but I will be when he’s older. Fisher Price also has videos of BeatBo on YouTube, my husband showed my son them while I was showering and my son started crying when I tried to turn it off! We love BeatBo haha
